As the Jade Giantess‘ number one fan, it is my duty to alert the media whenever something new about her is announced. As of today, something new has arrived! Marvel has revealed that She-Hulk is joining the roster of MARVEL Cosmic Invasion. The game’s description says:
“A cosmic battle awaits! Choose between 15 Marvel heroes in this frenetic action beat ‘em up to fight against the deadly Annihilation Wave threatening the galaxy. From New York City to the depths of the Negative Zone, the future of the Marvel Universe will be fought for across the stars!”
MARVEL Cosmic Invasion is a 2D side-scroller / beat ’em up. Since the days of The Simpsons arcade game, 2D beat ’em ups have been one of my favorite game genres. Admittedly, I’m not very good at them, and I very easily get upset when I die for the 200th time in the same spot. However, they are super fun to play. Metal Slug was one of the games I could not pass up playing whenever I saw the arcade machine anywhere. Having She-Hulk in a new game is super exciting, and I am sooooo looking forward to playing the game when its release is announced.
Quick note as well: I’m also really glad the developers made She-Hulk actually buff like she should be. Yes, the original She-Hulk wasn’t super buff, but we all know the buff version is better lol.
