Here we are! She-Hulk: Attorney at law is releasing on August 17th 2022 and I am beyond excited. Besides Mystique, She-Hulk is at the top of my list when it comes to super heroes. Blue and green skin is just so incredibly cool and tantalizing for a character.
From the looks of it, She-Hulk will be a nice change of pace from the previous Disney+ entries. The show is meant to be a “legal comedy” in which the show runners will lean into She-Hulk’s 4th wall breaking self awareness. The trailer seems to also indicate a change in She-Hulk’s origin story as Jennifer doesn’t receive a blood transfusion from Bruce Banner, her cousin, but rather it seems like members of Bruce’s family are all predisposed to become Hulks.
Having the ability to somehow unlock becoming a Hulk sounds like an amazing deal to me! To this day, movies and TV shows pretend that having green or blue skin is somehow not sexy. In this series, She-Hulk will fully embrace her bigger and greener self and use it to her advantage.
